Wall heating
A COOLING

The UNIVENTA system is an opportunity to solve heating and cooling for all types of walls and wall structures. It offers the possibility to implement both dry and wet process heating.

Basic principle

Wall heating

Wall heating works on a similar principle to underfloor heating, but offers several key advantages. Thanks to its large-scale radiant heat and rapid response capability, it allows the room to heat up faster. These features make wall heating an ideal solution for a wide range of applications - from healthcare and industry to public buildings and family homes.

Wall cooling

Due to the radiant cooling from the wall and the near-ideal temperature distribution, it is possible to reduce the room temperature by 3 °C to 4 °C. The wall cooling can be connected to a ceiling cooling system to extend the active cooling area and can be used wherever there is a higher power requirement.

Advantages of the technology

Wall heating and cooling

Combination with renewable sources

Ideal combination with heat pumps and alternative energy sources.

High durability

The piping built into the wall construction has a high durability and no joints.

Low energy consumption

The low operating temperature of the heating water and its distribution over the area reduce energy consumption.

It is architecturally clean

As with underfloor heating, wall heating technologies are built directly into the wall structure.

Also suitable for reconstruction

Without major structural modifications, sufficient area can be produced to cover the heat loss of a low-temperature system.

Reduction of dust swirling

With a radiant wall heating system, there is no air circulation and no dust swirling.

Technical solutions

  • PLASTER Wall

The system consists of polybutylene pipes Ø 8x1 mm, which are mounted in plastic rails attached to the wall. The entire register is then covered with a 2-3 cm thick reinforced plaster, making it ideal for use in plastered wall constructions. The installation is carried out on site, which requires more work, but allows for maximum adaptation to real layouts and possible changes. Alternatively, we offer ready-made UNIVENTA® mats that are manufactured to your specific requirements.

  • DELGADO Wall

The main element of our system is the thin aluminium DELGADO registers, which are fixed on the front side to CW profiles of standard metal construction for prefabricated walls. These registers are then covered with plasterboard, similar to ceiling cooling and heating systems using DELGADO registers. Each DELGADO register has an adhesive layer on both longer sides, which ensures a firm adhesion to the CW profiles. For maximum performance, we recommend the use of plasterboards with higher thermal conductivity, such as RIGIPS CLIMAFIT. The standard profile spacing is 625 mm.
