FLOOR HEATING DRY PROCESS

Dry underfloor heating is a modern low-heat system that is energy-efficient and ideal for all living spaces. Due to the minimum construction height of the dry floor and its low weight, this system is easily integrated into both renovations and new buildings.

DRY INSTALLATION

With a minimum construction height of 18-55 mm, this system is ideal for renovations and new builds where space is limited. In addition, the light weight of the dry underfloor heating system makes it suitable for installation in spaces with limited load capacity.

Basic principle

FAST REALIZATION

The absence of concrete screed significantly speeds up the implementation of underfloor heating because it eliminates technological breaks and waiting for the interior to dry out. The system can be put into operation immediately once it is connected to the heat source, allowing construction to continue smoothly.

Advantages of the technology

Underfloor heating
dry process

Low energy consumption

The system operates at lower temperatures, which reduces energy consumption and brings savings on heating costs.

Less inertia against wet system

By reacting faster to temperature changes, heating can be controlled more efficiently and energy costs can be reduced.

Possibility of first flooding immediately after completion of installation

The dry installation method allows the heating to start immediately without waiting for the concrete layer to dry.

Lightweight construction, very suitable for wooden ceilings

The light weight of the system is ideal for installations on wooden ceilings where minimum load is important.

Lower construction height compared to conventional underfloor heating

Unlike other cooling systems, ceiling cooling does not require such low operating temperatures. An air-to-water heat pump in combination with ceiling cooling thus cools the space at 50% costs compared to air conditioning.

Pleasant temperature distribution

The heat is evenly distributed over the entire floor area, which contributes to a comfortable and stable indoor environment.

Technical solution

  • HEATSYS Floor

The principle of the HEATSYS® Floor dry underfloor heating system is to install the hot water pipes in HEATSYS® system boards with a thickness of 30 mm. These plates are available in three types: straight and two end plate variants. They are laid on a level substrate so that their grooves form an effective meander with 120 and 240 mm spacing. With a dry floor construction height of 5-11 cm and a low weight of 30 kg/m², this system is ideal for use in all types of renovations and new builds. Dry underfloor heating offers fast and efficient installation, combining HEATSYS® system boards with floating gypsum or cement fibre boards.

Possibilities of using the system

This approach is ideal for timber-framed and prefabricated houses, where the builder's installers carry out the underfloor heating installation themselves, without the need to involve other subcontractors. This speeds up the whole construction process, keeps the humidity levels normal and allows other building work, such as the installation of plasterboard, to proceed immediately.
