UNDERFLOOR HEATING

Underfloor heating is a modern and efficient radiant system that brings optimum comfort to your space. This system ensures that up to 55 % of heat is transferred radiatively, while the convective component makes up the remaining 45 %. Unlike traditional convection heating, such as radiators and convectors, underfloor heating offers a unique way of transferring heat and creating a comfortable thermally balanced environment.

Basic principle

In combination with heat pumps, underfloor heating turns into an efficient space cooling system in summer. Radiant floor cooling acts on all surrounding structures and accumulates cold in buildings. As a result, the building better withstands temperature fluctuations and maintains a stable indoor thermal comfort.

  • TACKER Floor

    The piping is laid on 30 mm thick rolled insulation or on a rasterised foil and is firmly fixed with clamps. These clamps are applied using a special device called a tacker, which ensures a fast and efficient installation. TACKER® Floor is the ideal solution for quick and easy installation with optimum performance. The piping can be installed either in a spiral or in a meander in spacings ranging from 100 mm to 350 mm, both with their specific advantages.

  • PENTA Floor

    Technology PENTA® Floor is based on a separating PE film, which ensures that the concrete screed does not get stuck in the thermal insulation. The fixing strips are laid on top of this foil PENTA, to create a system surface for easy attachment of the pipe in a meander fit. Fitting into the rails creates a 5 mm space between the pipe and the separation sheet. The concrete screed thus thoroughly surrounds the entire pipe surface, resulting in the most efficient heat transfer.
    The PENTA® Floor technology is based on a separating PE film that ensures that the concrete screed does not get stuck in the thermal insulation. PENTA fixing strips are laid on top of this foil to create a system surface for easy fixing of the pipe in a meander lay. Fitting into the rails creates a 5 mm space between the pipe and the separation foil. The concrete screed will thus thoroughly circulate the entire surface of the pipe, resulting in the most efficient heat transfer.

    Part of the assortment UNIVENTA® are also system boards and system fixing foils within the UNI Floor technology. The system boards with EPS 150 thermal insulation with 10 mm or 30 mm insulation height make installation easier at a higher purchase cost. The fixing foil, i.e. the system board without thermal insulation, is a suitable compromise where the building supplies the complete height of thermal insulation and the heating engineers only create the installation area. The pipework can be installed either in a spiral or meander pattern in spacings from 100mm to 350mm, both methods having their own specific advantages.
